Air transport movements

Introduction

The environmental capacity constraint of 500,000 movements per operational year, left little space for growth of the number of commercial air transport movements: +0.5%, to a total of 499,444 in 2018. Within that volume, we see a strong shift from full freighter movements (-10.4% decrease) to passenger movements (+1.0%).
